One voice for California’s high schools

The preeminent voice for California’s high school students. The Coalition advances advocacy and legislative engagement on behalf of the superintendents, principals, and district leaders who serve the state’s high schools.

What the Coalition does

As a 501(c)(4) organization, the Coalition is dedicated to advocacy and lobbying in support of California’s high school students. It brings together the leaders responsible for the state’s high schools to identify shared priorities, examine legislation, and speak with one voice on the issues that matter most to secondary education.

Twice a year, the people who run California’s high schools sit down together

Each leadership group meets to look hard at what’s working, surface the challenges that land only on high schools, and read the legislation headed for California’s campuses. Leaders leave with a wider network and answers they can put to work at home — then bring the next set of questions back to the table.
