For California’s high school leaders
Lead your district with the whole state behind you
Policy shifts, budgets tighten, and the hardest calls in education rarely come with a manual. The California High School Coalition brings superintendents and district leaders together twice a year — to compare what’s working, read the legislation that’s coming, and carry the latest back to their own campuses.
Why we gather
No one leads a high school district in a vacuum. The same pressures land on every desk — funding, accountability, staffing, student wellbeing, and legislation that changes faster than the school year. The Coalition exists so you don’t face them alone: a room to share what’s working, learn from the people who have already solved it, and stay ahead of the policy shaping your schools.

Leaders learn most from peers facing the same decisions. The Coalition convenes four groups twice a year — superintendents with superintendents, business officials with business officials — to trade real solutions, surface the challenges unique to high schools, and read the legislation that’s coming.
